Madison & Patrick’s Wranglers Roost wedding
When Madison and Patrick reached out to me for their intimate wedding in New River, AZ at Wranglers Roost Ranch, I knew immediately I wanted to be a part of telling their story. We spoke about their lives as wildland firefighters, their adventures traveling with their cattle dog Kyote, and their love of their family and close friends who would be joining them at the vacation rental property. Once we started planning, my excitement only grew. With touches of elegance mixed with DIY charm, Madison and Patrick’s wedding was perfect in every way.
After meeting in high school, Madi and Patrick had gone their separate ways to college. Although many of the people in their lives believed these two were destined for a life together (especially their cross country coach!), they hadn’t quite come to agreement yet. It wasn’t until reconnecting again that their love story blossomed, and they became inseparable adventurists together!
With a travel lifestyle, planning a wedding was already difficult. Add in all the uncertainty of the pandemic, and these two decided a trip to Wranglers Roost outside Phoenix over the Thanksgiving Day weekend would make the perfect time and place for an intimate wedding. They invited both of their families and a handful of close friends to join them while they solidified their commitment to each other.
It’s all in the details…
With their cross country coach as an officiant, their pup Kyote as their ball crazy flower girl, and their mom’s helping make everything from the florals to the deserts, the day was intimate and fun loving. Madison wore her late grandmother’s veil, and she and Patrick both hand wrote their vows. They both chose a sibling and best friend to stand with them during the ceremony, and everyone was treated to gourmet pizza and drinks as the sun set behind the desert hills.
