Use of Cookies or Tracers
The Stratus Adventure Photography websites use “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
One of the primary purposes of cookies is to save you time. A cookie tells the web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize Stratus Adventure Photography pages, or register with Stratus Adventure Photography websites or services, a cookie helps Stratus Adventure Photography to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing and shipping addresses. When you return to the same Stratus Adventure Photography websites, the information you previously provided can be retrieved so you can easily use the Stratus Adventure Photography features that you customized.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the Stratus Adventure Photography services or websites you visit.
In some instances, Stratus Adventure Photography uses tracking scripts that recognize a unique identifier from a cookie placed on your device by another website. These are used by Stratus Adventure Photography to gauge the success of our programs, such as advertising campaigns. For instance, we may use a tracking script to determine whether you visit our employment pages after visiting a resume or career website where we placed a banner ad.
Collection and Use of Location Data?
When you use Stratus Adventure Photography websites, we may collect and process information about your actual location. We use various technologies to determine location, including IP address, GPS, and other sensors that may, for example, provide us with information on nearby devices, Wi-Fi access points and cell towers. Location data is used and disclosed in accordance with the section “Use of your Personal Information”.
Security of Information
Stratus Adventure Photography does not treat your general interaction with our websites (e.g., submission of suggestions) as confidential. However, Stratus Adventure Photography secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

If you believe that we have collected personal information about a child under 13, please inform us by email at shannon@stratusadventurephotography.com so that we may delete the information.
