“We love your photos… but we’re super awkward in front of a camera.”
Nearly every couple you see here said the same thing. The vast majority of the couples I photograph have never had professional couple’s photos taken. No influencer background, no secret stash of modeling photos, just good humans convinced they wouldn’t know what to do in front of a camera.
Feeling awkward at first is completely normal, and you don’t need to fix it before showing up. I’ve got you.
My approach is a mix of documentary and guided, movement-based posing. When moments unfold naturally, I’m there, capturing what’s real. When things need a little structure, I guide you through it so you’re never left hanging. We move, we chat, we chase the sun, and we find the best light and backdrops along the way.
You already know how to be yourselves. I just help you feel comfortable enough for that to come through in photos. We plan ahead, talk through what sort of poses you’re drawn to and the overall feel you are aiming for, and build a vision that fits you, not the other way around.
Awkward is welcome here. You’re going to look freaking amazing!
