Bobbie & Kasey’s Glam Pink Jeep Tour Sedona Wedding

Intimate Ceremony and Celebration with Family and Flower Pup at Merry Go Round Rock

Bobbie and Kasey drove all the way from Texas with their adorable pup Rubie to celebrate their intimate Sedona destination wedding. From the very first conversation I had with Bobbie, I was in love with all the intentionality she put behind her adventurous wedding day. She knew she wanted epic scenery for her wedding, but was not going to compromise on including all the sentimental details. With her family still back in Australia (her home country), it was important to her to document the whole day to share it with them!

The Details

Bobbie was all about the retro movie star glam vibes. She chose a classic ivory low backed dress with buttons all the way down the train, Hollywood starlet hair waves, ruby red nails, matching striking red lips, classic heels with white pearls and a faux fur wrap. She went with an elegant bouquet of white roses and mixed greenery. For Miss Ruby (their pup) she made a floral harness and leash with greenery and white roses to match!

The Day

I arrived as Bobbie’s hair and makeup were being finished up at the beautiful Wilde Resort and Spa in West Sedona. Bobbie, Ruby (pup), and her godmother all loaded into my 4runner for the drive up while Kasey and the rest of the guests met with the Pink Jeep tour driver for the bumpy ride.

Once we reached the top, we hiked down to one of my favorite overlooks to wait for the rest of the party while enjoying the views looking out over Sedona in the distance. Kasey and the guests soon arrived by Pink Jeep escort.

Their ceremony included both traditional and personalized elements. They began with a prayer reading, followed by handwritten vows, a “sixpence” in Bobbie’s shoe, and a symbolic stone gifting.

The personalized touches continued with both a gorgeous mini-cake and pup-cake with silver and gold cutlery with champagne to celebrate with their guests after the ceremony. After champagne and cake, the guests rode with the Pink Jeep driver down the hill back to their resort, while Bobbie, Kasey, and Ruby stayed to enjoy a first dance and portraits in the sunset.

As we walked back down to the overlook, the sky burst into a mesmerizing display of vibrant pinks and golden hues, changing into deep magenta and purples for their first dance. We stayed for every last bit of light, soaking in the magic. Once the show was over, we walked back to my 4runner and began the drive down the trail in pure bliss. To end the night they read letters from family not there and took a few more Hollywood glam headlight shots. It was a perfect way to end a magical day!
