Have you been dreaming of Engagement photos surrounded by Joshua Trees?

What if I told you that there is a hidden, much lesser known Joshua Tree Forest in Arizona where you can take your own unique Joshua Tree engagement photos? If you are up for traveling a bit off the beaten path for an engagement adventure, keep reading!

Joshua trees are known as a symbol of survival, resilience, and beauty borne through perseverance, so it is no wonder many couples are drawn to including them in their adventurous engagement images. These majestic plants are best known to grow in Joshua Tree National Park in California, but they are native to a larger area that spans into remote areas of the Southwest. By choosing to travel to this more remote location, not only can you gain more privacy, but you will also be surrounded by a forest of Joshua Trees that have grown to more massive heights, and are much more densely populated than those I’ve seen in other locations.

When to Plan Your Joshua Tree Engagement Session

The Arizona desert is known for being hot, dry, and unforgiving. The best weather will be in the spring or fall. Winter months are on the cooler side- with a possibility of dispersed snowfall, and summer months regularly see temperatures climbing into the triple digits.

Permitting and Location Requirements

There is currently no additional fee needed to have engagement session images taken in this location.
