Andaz Resort Wedding in the Heart of Scottsdale

Carla and Cameron flew down from Canada to Scottsdale for what turned out to be the most stunning, sun-soaked wedding day. They chose an intimate celebration at the Andaz Resort, where they gathered with their closest family and friends under our wide-open Arizona skies.

A Love Story of Resilience and Joy

Carla and Cameron’s love story is one of true resilience. Their bond was formed during a time of heartache—through great loss, they found comfort and love in one another. That foundation of unwavering support made their wedding day even more meaningful. It wasn’t just about the beauty of the setting or the joy of the celebration, but the deep, unshakable connection they share. Watching them together, you could feel that their love has weathered life’s storms, making moments like these, where they’re surrounded by their favorite people, all the more special.

Their Day

Picture this: cacti all around, the brightest blue sky above, and a crazy amount of florals decorating every inch of their ceremony space. I mean, Carla loves flowers, so the Laki design team went all out. We’re talking lush arrangements lining the aisle, and a jaw-dropping arch packed with pink, peach, and white —it was floral heaven!

The ceremony? Just as dreamy as you’d imagine. They even had this gorgeous, wooden-covered sign-in book, personalized with both of their favorite candies and little wine toppers. Every detail was seriously perfect.
Once Carla and Cameron said their vows, we headed to the cactus garden for portraits, and let me tell you—the light was pure magic. That warm desert glow wrapped around them, making every shot feel straight out of a fairytale.
Back at the reception, things got even better. Guests were greeted with glasses of champagne, personalized cookies, and thank-you cards that made everyone feel so cherished. A beautiful three-tiered cake adorned with live florals, an acoustic singer filling the air with music, and yard games that had everyone laughing and playing. And let’s not forget the speeches, which included heartfelt words from their nephew and niece (those little guys absolutely stole the show!).
And just when you thought it couldn’t get any more fun, they had another surprise for their guests: a beer burrow! Yes, a beer burro! This adorable little guy wandered in, and everyone got to take pictures, pet him, and enjoy some drinks. It was one of those moments that people will be talking about for years to come.
Carla and Cameron’s Andaz Resort wedding wasn’t just a day, it was like stepping into a fairytail—filled with love, laughter, and many unforgettable moments.

Kind Words from the couple

I don’t even know where to start with Shannon. Not only is she an amazing photographer she is just a wonderful person. Shannon made us feel so comfortable, it honestly felt like a friend was taking our photos. She was so patient with everyone being in her way and wanting a million pictures with us. She is encouraging and makes you feel beautiful even if you are like us and don’t care to be in front of the camera. She asked my husband to find his inner James Bond and did he ever! We’ve seen a sneak peek and the pictures are WOW – we cannot wait to see the rest. If you get the chance to work with Shannon you will be lucky🤍
